These Content Submission Guidelines ("Guidelines") set forth the standards for all content uploaded, posted, or displayed by Dealerships on the Carloom Automotive (Pty) Ltd Platform (carloom.co.za). Adherence to these Guidelines is essential to maintain the quality, integrity, and trustworthiness of the Platform for all users, particularly Buyers. These Guidelines are supplementary to our main Website User Terms and Conditions.

1. Purpose of Guidelines
These Guidelines ensure that all vehicle listings and dealership content on Carloom Automotive (Pty) Ltd are:

Accurate and Truthful: Providing reliable information to Buyers.

High Quality: Presenting vehicles and dealerships professionally.

Compliant: Adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Consistent: Maintaining a uniform experience across the Platform.

2. General Content Requirements
All content submitted by Dealerships must:

Be Relevant: Directly pertain to vehicle listings or dealership information.

Be Professional: Maintain a respectful and appropriate tone.

Be Clear and Concise: Easy for Buyers to understand.

Be Original: You must own the rights to, or have explicit permission to use, all content submitted.

Comply with Laws: Adhere to all applicable South African laws and regulations, including consumer protection laws, advertising standards, and data privacy laws.

3. Vehicle Listing Content Standards
3.1. Accuracy and Truthfulness
Vehicle Description: Must accurately reflect the vehicle's make, model, year, mileage, features, condition, and any modifications. Material defects or known issues must be disclosed.

Pricing: All prices must be accurate, transparent, and inclusive of all mandatory fees (excluding specific optional extras or services clearly marked as such). No hidden costs.

Availability: Vehicles listed must be genuinely available for sale at the Dealership. Listings should be updated promptly if a vehicle is sold or no longer available.

VIN/Chassis Number: Provide accurate VIN/chassis numbers where required for verification.

3.2. Images and Videos
Quality: High-resolution, clear, and well-lit images/videos are mandatory. Blurry, pixelated, or heavily filtered media is prohibited.

Relevance: Images/videos must accurately represent the specific vehicle being advertised. Using stock photos or images of a different vehicle (even the same model) without clear disclosure is prohibited.

Authenticity: Images/videos should not be digitally altered to misrepresent the vehicle's condition, color, or features. Minor enhancements (e.g., brightness, contrast) are acceptable.

Quantity: Provide a sufficient number of images (e.g., minimum 5-10 from various angles, interior, exterior, dashboard) to give Buyers a comprehensive view.

No Watermarks/Logos (unless approved): Avoid excessive watermarks or competing logos that detract from the vehicle or violate Carloom's branding guidelines.

3.3. Prohibited Listing Content
Misleading or deceptive information.

Content that infringes on intellectual property rights (e.g., copyrighted images, trademarked logos without permission).

Offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language or imagery.

Personal contact information (phone numbers, email addresses) within the vehicle description, as communication should be facilitated through the Platform's designated channels.

Links to external websites or competing platforms within the listing description.

4. Dealership Profile Content Standards
Accuracy: Ensure all dealership information (address, contact details, operating hours, services offered) is current and correct.

Branding: Your dealership logo and branding should be clear and professional.

Description: Provide a concise and compelling description of your dealership's history, values, and unique selling propositions.

Testimonials/Reviews: If including testimonials, ensure they are genuine and verifiable.

5. Compliance and Enforcement
Monitoring: Carloom Automotive (Pty) Ltd actively monitors content submitted to the Platform to ensure compliance with these Guidelines.

Violations: Content found to be in violation of these Guidelines may be subject to:

Immediate removal or editing by Carloom Automotive (Pty) Ltd.

Temporary suspension of listing privileges.

Permanent suspension or termination of the Dealership's account, as per the Website User Terms and Conditions.

Reporting: Users are encouraged to report any content they believe violates these Guidelines.

6. Acceptance
By submitting any content to the Carloom Automotive (Pty) Ltd Platform, you confirm your understanding and agreement to abide by these Content Submission Guidelines.

7. Changes to Guidelines
Carloom Automotive (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to modify these Guidelines at any time. Dealerships will be notified of any material changes, and continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
