This Buyer Concierge Service Policy outlines the scope, limitations, and expectations for the "Full Buyer Support and Concierge" service provided by Carloom Automotive (Pty) Ltd ("Carloom Automotive," "we," "us," or "our") through its Platform (carloom.co.za). This service is designed to enhance the car buying experience for eligible Buyers and is supplementary to our main Website User Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Purpose of the Concierge Service
The Carloom Automotive Concierge Service aims to provide personalized assistance and guidance to Buyers throughout their car search and purchase journey. Our goal is to make the process seamless, effective, safe, and secure by acting as a facilitating intermediary between Buyers and verified Dealerships.
2. Eligibility for Concierge Service
The Concierge Service is offered to Buyers who opt-in for "Full Buyer Support and Concierge" through the Platform. While the service is provided at no direct cost to the Buyer, Carloom Automotive reserves the right to determine eligibility and the extent of support provided based on internal criteria.
3. Scope of Concierge Services
Our Concierge Service may include, but is not limited to, the following assistance:
Vehicle Search & Matching: Helping Buyers identify suitable vehicles based on their stated preferences, budget, and needs from our network of verified Dealerships.
Information Gathering: Assisting Buyers in obtaining additional information about specific cars or Dealerships.
Facilitating Connections: Arranging initial calls, appointments, or test drives with Dealerships on behalf of the Buyer.
Promotions & Incentives: Informing Buyers about relevant promotions, deals, or buyer incentives available through Carloom Automotive or its Dealership partners.
Platform Navigation: Guiding Buyers on how to best utilize the Carloom Automotive Platform's features.
Post-Sales Check-in: Conducting follow-ups after a vehicle purchase (through a Carloom Automotive Dealership) to ensure Buyer satisfaction.
Ancillary Service Referrals: Offering information or referrals to car-related services (e.g., insurance, auto security) to enhance the overall car ownership experience.
4. Limitations of Concierge Service
Buyers acknowledge and agree to the following limitations:
Not a Sales Agent: Carloom Automotive's Concierge Service acts as a facilitator and guide. We are not a sales agent for any Dealership, nor do we act as a representative of the Buyer in any binding legal capacity.
No Negotiation on Behalf of Buyer: While we facilitate connections, the Concierge Service does not include formal negotiation of vehicle prices or terms on behalf of the Buyer. Any negotiation is ultimately between the Buyer and the Dealership.
No Guarantee of Purchase or Outcome: The Concierge Service does not guarantee the purchase of a vehicle, the availability of a specific vehicle, or any specific outcome from the car buying process.
No Financial or Legal Advice: Carloom Automotive and its Concierge team do not provide financial, legal, insurance, or vehicle inspection advice. Buyers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence, seeking independent professional advice, and verifying all information before making a purchase decision.
Dealership Responsibility: The ultimate responsibility for the vehicle's condition, accuracy of its listing, and the terms of sale rests solely with the Dealership.
Communication: While the Concierge team will facilitate communication, Buyers are responsible for engaging directly with Dealerships to finalize details and complete transactions.
5. Buyer Responsibilities
To ensure the effectiveness of the Concierge Service, Buyers agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information regarding their vehicle preferences and contact details.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with the Concierge team and Dealerships.
Respond to communications in a timely manner to facilitate the process.
Conduct their own due diligence before making any purchase decisions.
6. Data Privacy
Information shared with the Concierge Service will be handled in accordance with Carloom Automotive's Privacy Policy. By using the Concierge Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy to facilitate the provision of the service.
7. Termination or Modification of Service
Carloom Automotive reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Concierge Service, or a Buyer's access to it, at any time and for any reason, without prior notice.
8. Acceptance
By utilizing the Carloom Automotive Concierge Service, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these specific terms, along with the broader Carloom Automotive (Pty) Ltd Website User Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
